Are there any trainers for herding in the South Florida area?

anytime is good for obediance training, once you get their attention they are very fast learners, but they require consistancy and clarity in your commands. my 3 year old Cattle Dog learned to sit at six weeks old, and had learned to fetch withen a week of bringing him home.

We recently adopted a 3 yr. old ACD and have had other herding dogs before. Are all ACD's so "vocal" when they want something?

I have a wonderful cattle dog, Mr. Wimpy, who serves me as a brilliant service dog. He had a career working cattle and then decided he wanted to remain with me and took over as my service dog when I went back to school. He is about ready to retire and is looking for a replacement for when he leaves his post and becomes a "dog" full time. We had a border collie for a replacement but she did not work out in our family. I am very active, always on the go, and Mr. Wimpy has served me well so his paws witll be tough ones to fill. However, I know that the right pup or young dog is out there. Wimp also shows in agility and obedience trials part time maybe once or twice a year and it would be great fun to continue to do this with our new "baby". If you have any breeders in the state of Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee or South Carolina that may have a puppy or young dog that might fit our needs, please feel free to pass on my contact information.
